Brief Description of Decision:

1.    That the proposals shown on Drawing Number NSS/SITWELL/2021/02 regarding the implementation of a 20mph Speed Limit on various roads at Whiston be approved and implemented.

2.    That the results of the public consultation be noted.

Reasons for the Decision:

To enable the implementation of a 20mph Speed Limit on various Roads at Whiston.

To note the outcome of the public consultation.

Details of alternative options considered and rejected:

The option not to implement the 20mph speed limit was rejected as retaining the existing speed limit would not have provided the desired improvements in road safety at Whiston.
