To seek approval from Assistant Director to implement a traffic regulation order subject to no objections being received. If objections are received the report will be considered by Strategic Director. The effect of the order would be to lower the existing derestricted speed limit to 40mph on a section of Grange Lane.

Approval of the implementation of the proposed 40mph speed limit on Grange Lane / Fish Pond Lane Maltby.

Reasons for the Decision:

 

To improve the road safety environment for all vulnerable road users along Grange Lane and Fish Pond Lane, Maltby.

Details of alternative options considered and rejected:

Do nothing. This option is not being promoted as this does not resolve the road safety concerns of having an inappropriate speed limit along Grange Lane and Fish Pond Lane.
