Reasons for the Decision:

 

 

Air Quality in Wales has been continually monitored for many years and for the last four years (since 2018) it has been demonstrated that annual mean levels of nitrogen dioxide have fallen consistently below the threshold of 40 µg/m3.

Details of alternative options considered and rejected:

 

Leaving the Air Quality Management Area in place was considered but rejected as monitoring demonstrates there is no longer a legal requirement to have the intervention in place.
