Award Contract to Econ Engineering Ltd -  Hire provision of Winter Gritter Fleet & Associated Telematics

Reasons for the Decision:

The previous contract expired in November 2022, and to ensure compliance, budget management and quality are maintained a new contract has been procured via a framework agreement call-off further competition.

Details of alternative options considered and rejected:

Option one - No capacity to deliver internally.

Option two – Continue with existing suppliers. – Noncompliant spend with no contractual control
