Decision:

To illuminate Rotherham Town Hall in red and white and fly the St George’s flag at both the Town Hall and Riverside House in support of the England Men’s football team reaching the final of Euro 2024 – Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 July 2024.

Reasons for the Decision:

It is common practice for public landmarks to be illuminated in support of significant national sporting events. As the England Men’s football team have reached the final of Euro 2024, it is deemed appropriate that the Town Hall is illuminated in the national colours to show Rotherham’s support and that the St. George’s flag is flow at the Town Hall and Riverside House.
