Decision:

To approve the increase of the current dispersed  portfolio from 10 to 20 properties used by the Leaving Care team.

 

 

Reasons for the Decision:

Leaving care dispersed accommodation is a critical service provided to young people transitioning out of foster care or residential care settings. These individuals often lack family support and require stable housing to facilitate their successful integration into independent adulthood. Currently, RMBC operates up to 10 dispersed accommodation properties, accommodating Rotherham young people. There is a need to increase this provision by A FURTHER 10 units.

 

The purpose of this Officer Decision is to agree to increase the current dispersed  portfolio from 10 to 20 properties used by the Leaving Care team.
