Approval of the funding proposals for the allocation of Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) Domestic Abuse Duty funding for the 2025-2026 financial year

 

Reasons for the Decision:

MHCLG provided Domestic Abuse Duty funding for the financial year 2025-2026 of £802,591. This report sets out proposals for the allocation of this funding to support the implementation of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 statutory duty.

No alternative options considered as Domestic Abuse duty funding provide must be spent on Domestic Abuse initiatives in line with the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 and the Domestic Abuse strategy 2022 - 2027.
