Financial and Procurement Procedure Rules (FPPR’s) Clause 46.5:

Strategic Directors may permit, with limitations, other officers to authorise orders and Contracts in their own name on behalf of the Council. Any orders or Contracts made shall remain the responsibility of the Strategic Director. Strategic Directors must maintain an up-to-date scheme of delegation, which is refreshed on an annual basis at the commencement of the financial year.

Award of contract to Ralph Livesey Ltd for a period of 48 months, to supply frozen food for the Council wide catering services.

Estimated contract value £7,765,184.08.

Reasons for the Decision:

Frozen food supply required to ensure the provision of catering services to schools and members of the public across the Borough. Following a procurement activity and tender evaluation process this provider was identified as the best value.
