Minute line 146 of the 14th April 2025 Cabinet decision on Household Support Fund resolved to:

 

Delegate authority to the Assistant Chief Executive in consultation with the Leader, to determine revised and final allocations for the Household Support Grant. This included provision for other eligible actions within the use of Household Support Fund should it not be possible to achieve full spend of the grant through the approved options’.

Confirm final allocations for Household Support Fund (HSF) grant for the period from April 2025 to March 2026, as per the ‘Final amount’ column in the table below.

Reasons for the Decision:

Following approval of the programme by Cabinet in April 2025, minor changes have been made to allocations based on need and demand over the one-year period. This enables the Council to meet crisis need effectively and maximise the grant.

Alternatives have not been provided. The revised allocations reflect the final position in relation to provision of support across the agreed elements of HSF, enabling support to be effectively targeted and grant to be maximised.
