Cabinet approval – meeting held on 17 March 2025 (minute number 135 resolution 2)

That Cabinet delegates authority to the Assistant Chief Executive (now Director of Policy, Strategy and Engagement), in consultation with the Leader of the Council, to determine revised and final allocations for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. This is to include provision for other eligible actions within the use of the fund should it not be possible to achieve full spend of the grant through the allocations (in resolution 1).

Decision:

To agree the final UKSPF project allocations for 2025/26, as per the table:

*Ambition, Core Skills and Advance were managed as one project.

Reasons for the Decision:

The table reflects the final position for Rotherham’s UKSPF programme in 2025/26, including changes made to ensure effective delivery and seek to maximise the funding. N.B. figures in the ‘Approved’ column in the table reflect previous officer decisions made after the original Cabinet approval.
