To enhance the offering primarily for those who need to arrange a funeral at short notice for faith reasons. This provides an enhanced service for a group with protected characteristics.

Offering remain unchanged. This decision was rejected as it did not address the concerns raised by the Muslim community relating to the pressures faced by families needing to bury at short notice for faith reasons.
Pilot an extension of the time the latest burial can take place to 17:00, as suggested in the report presented to IPSC on 3rd January 2018. This decision was rejected as it did not fully address the concerns raised by the Muslim community, relating to the pressures faced by families needing to bury at short notice for faith reasons.
