The award of contracts in respect of the Install of Street Lighting Equipment and Highways Electrical Connections Testing. This work was tendered and awarded as two separate lots:-

Lot 1: Installation of Street Lighting Equipment
Lot 2: Highway Electrical Connections Testing

Both lots have been awarded to Jones Lighting Ltd and will run for a period of 12 months, with an option to extend by a further 2 x 1 year periods.

Lot 1 commenced on 1 October 2018. Lot 2 commenced 17 October 2018.

The result of a competitive procurement procedure.

 

The procedure was undertaken as an Open Tender exercise which was conducted in line with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 and the Council’s own Financial and Procurement Procedure Rules.
