To adopt the process for managing roadside memorials.

Reasons for the Decision:

 

 

The procedure has been developed to balance road safety concerns and the needs of the bereaved and wider community when dealing with the placing and removal of roadside tributes or memorials. Its intention is to minimise risk whilst sensitively assisting those suffering the trauma of loss.

The alternative was to continue without a definitive process for managing roadside memorials
