To seek approval for the strategic acquisition of the subject property, including agreeing the terms and conditions for the acquisition to assist in the wider redevelopment of the Millfold House site. 

 

Reasons for the Decision:

 

 

The strategic acquisition of the subject property is an integral part of the proposed redevelopment of the Millfold House site. Without it, only a less comprehensive redevelopment could be achieved, with the floor space reduced by approximately one-third. The acquisition will ensure that positive outcomes from the scheme are maximised, in addition to the return to all involved.
