Brief Description of Decision:

Approval was given to a request for flexible retirement of 4 employees in Children and Young People’s Service.

Reasons for the Decision:

The area where the employees worked was subject to a restructure and fewer posts were required. The flexible retirement requests reduced the number of compulsory redundancies that would be necessary.  There were no costs associated with granting the early release of pension entitlements.
