Brief Description of Decision:

 

 

To approve disposal of the Council’s freehold interest in the former Rotherham Community Transport Hub at Erskine Road, Eastwood, Rotherham.

Reasons for the Decision:

 

 

The property has previously been declared surplus to the requirements of the operational service.  Consultations have taken place with all relevant Council services and no alternative operational use has been identified.

Details of alternative options considered and rejected:

 

The property has never been utilised as an asset of community benefit and fails to meet the parameters of the Council’s adopted Community Asset Transfer Policy, it is therefore recommended the freehold disposal is progressed.
