Brief Description of Decision:

To approve the closure of the Archives and Local Studies service for four days, 18^th to 21^st March 2020 for the annual stocktaking week to carry out essential work on the collections.

Reasons for the Decision:

To enable essential collections work to be carried out on barcoding the collections to improve and make more efficient how collections are located to improve access.

Details of alternative options considered and rejected:

No closure for stocktaking week impacting on the services ability to make collections more accessible through barcoding.
