Approval to increase the Ward Housing Hub budget (on a ward-by-ward basis) by the value of the Ward Housing Hub underspend in 2022/23, to be added to the Ward Housing Hub budget for 2023/24.

Reasons for the Decision: |
On the 29th of December 2019, Cabinet agreed the implementation of 25 Ward Housing Hubs with an annual Ward Housing Hub budget allocation per Ward. The annual budgets commenced from 2020/21 financial year, to be managed within a four-year cycle, with any uncommitted budget rolling forward to the following financial year, with all budgets to be spent by the end of 2023/24.
Cabinet authorised that the Assistant Director of Housing in consultation with the Head of Finance (Adults, Public Health and Housing), to increase the Ward Housing Hubs budget (on a ward-by-ward basis) by the value of the Ward Housing Hub underspend in the preceding year within the 4-year cycle.
Having received details of the value of uncommitted budget, ward by ward, as at the end of financial year 2022/23, in consultation and agreement with Corporate Finance, the decision has been made by the Assistant Director of Housing to increase the Ward Housing Hub budget by this amount in 2023/24. |
