Brief Description of Decision:

Exercising of the delegated authority given to the Strategic Director of Regeneration and Environment, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Jobs and the Local Economy and the S.151 Officer, to sign the Memorandum of Understanding from Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) in relation to the Capital Regeneration Grant.

Reasons for the Decision:

Acceptance of the £19,990,111 Capital Regeneration grant in relation to the Council’s Principal Areas Of Growth bid to Government by signing the Government’s Memorandum of Understanding.

Details of alternative options considered and rejected:

That the MOU are not signed; this option would mean that Rotherham would lose the Capital Regeneration grant
