Any function not otherwise reserved to the full Council, the Cabinet, a committee of the Cabinet, a member of the Cabinet, a joint committee discharging executive functions or another local authority, relevant to the Assistant Director’s portfolio.

Bidding for external funding and grant aid for both revenue and capital schemes, and their subsequent implementation.

Brief Description of Decision:

To accept the additional funding and include in delivery of highway surfacing works as per the agreement with SYMCA

Reasons for the Decision:

The additional funding will assist in repairing additional sections of highway, helping to maintain the condition better than the national average.

Details of alternative options considered and rejected:

As this funding is grant monies made available to the Council to continue to improve road conditions no alternative options have been considered.
