The decision is to award and enter into a contract following a procurement process via further competition on the Children and Young People’s 16+ Accommodation and Support Flexible Purchasing System, this will be for 2 years with the option to extend for up to 2 years.

Under Section 4C3 of the Responsibilities for Functions document (App 9 of the Constitution) the Strategic Director of Adult Care, Housing and Public Health is authorised to discharge executive functions through the commissioning and provision of social services for adults and public health services for the whole population and delivery of housing for the Borough, including: -

Decision:

To award the contract to Roundabout Ltd as per the Tender Evaluation Report of 23 October 2024.

 

Reasons for the Decision:

The result of a competitive procurement process as agreed at Cabinet 29 July 2024. 

The procurement was undertaken using a further competition under Lot Z – Miscellaneous/Future 16+ Accommodation and Support requirements of the Councils Accommodation and Support for Young People Aged 16-25 Flexible Purchasing System.

The successful supplier, after evaluation, was Roundabout Ltd. The Tender Evaluation Report and award recommendation has been approved by the relevant parties.
