Decision:

The delegated decision seeks to give authorisation to draw down £150,000 of the Pride in Place Phase 2 capacity funding

Reasons for the Decision:

To enable the Council to deliver all required activities for Pride in Place Phase 2, including capacity-building to establish the programme and a new Neighbourhood Board, facilitate meaningful community engagement, and develop a Regeneration Plan for Maltby East.

Details of alternative options considered and rejected:

The delegated officer could choose not to approve the spend which would prevent the programme from being progressed. This option is not recommended as it would inhibit essential investment.
