Brief Description of Decision:

To authorise the flying of the Rotherham United Football Club Flag from Riverside House and Rotherham Town Hall to support the club in the League One Play Off Final to be held at Wembley on Sunday, 27 May 2018.

The flags will be flown from both sites until Tuesday 29 May 2018.

The Leader of the Council, having sought the support of the Council at its meeting held on 23 May 2018, is in support of the decision.

Reasons for the Decision:

To demonstrate civic support for Rotherham United Football Club in the League One Play Off Final.

Details of alternative options considered and rejected:

The alternative would be to take no action. This has been rejected as the Council wished to demonstrate its support for the club.
