Brief Description of Decision:

To approve the disposal of land adjacent to 19 Conway Crescent, East Herringthorpe.

Reasons for the Decision:

The development of the adjacent land to No. 19 for residential purposes has resulted in a strip of ‘no man’s land’ remaining which due to the topography would only be useful as an extension to the side curtilage of 19 Conway Crescent.

Details of alternative options considered and rejected:

It is considered that disposal on the open market would not be suitable due to the location, size and shape of the land which offers no real alternative use apart from extended curtilage to the adjacent property.
