Brief Description of Decision:

The award of contracts in respect of the operated and non-operated plant hire.  This work was tendered and awarded as five separate lots:-

Lot 1 - Hire of Operated Plant

Lot 2 – Hire of Non-Operated Plant

Lot 3 – Hire of Tools & Fencing

Lot 4 – Hire of Cabins

Lot 5 – Hire of Traffic Lights

All lots have been awarded and will run for a period of 24 months, with an option to extend by a further 2 x 1 year periods.

All Lots commenced on 1 September 2019

Reasons for the Decision:

The result of a competitive procurement procedure.

The procedure was undertaken as an Open Tender exercise which was conducted in line with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 and the Council’s own Financial and Procurement Procedure Rules.
