Further to Minute No. 169 of April, 2010, the Project Manager reported that, following a very competitive tender from the successful contractor, £195,000 was still available from the 2010/11 Regional Housing Board allocation for Sheltered Housing modifications.

It was, therefore, proposed that level access improvements be created to a further 70 properties at Staple Green, Thrybergh, and Mason Avenue, Swallownest, as well as 10 properties on the Responsive waiting list.

If approved, there would have been 21 sheltered schemes improved by the end of the current financial year.

Resolved:-  That the 2010/11 (Phase 2) budget spend proposal for the sheltered schemes, set out above be approved.
