Minutes: The Board considered the submitted report indicating a request from a licensed driver/proprietor/operator for an exemption to Condition 6 of the private hire vehicle conditions of licence to facilitate the advertisement of his company name and phone number on the rear window of his white VW transporter private hire vehicle.
A copy of the proposed advert and a sample of the material that would be affixed to the rear window were submitted.
Resolved:- That, subject to it being clear that the vehicle was a private hire vehicle, the request to be exempted from Condition 6 of the licensing conditions to facilitate a rear window advertisement be approved. |

Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Drivers' Licences Minutes: The Board considered a report by the Director of Housing and Neighbourhood Services relating to the hackney carriage/private hire drivers’ licences held by Messrs. R.M. and I.A.M.
Messrs. R.M. and I.A.M. attended the meeting and were interviewed by the Board.
Resolved:- That Messrs. R.M. and I.A.M. be warned as to their future conduct. |
