Resolved:-  That the minutes of the meeting of the Council held on 3^rd December, 2008 be approved for signature by the Mayor.

To consider the adoption of the following resolution :-

That pursuant to Section 249(5) of the Local Government Act 1972, the following persons, who have rendered eminent service to the Borough, be admitted as Honorary Freemen of the Borough and arrangements be made to present this Honour :-

Michael Clarke

Joseph Stanley Crowther

Paul Goodison, MBE

The Yorkshire Regiment

Consideration was given to the granting of the Honour of Freedom of the Borough

Resolved unanimously:-

That pursuant to Section 249(5) of the Local Government Act 1972, the following people who have rendered eminent service to the Borough be admitted as Honorary Freemen of the Borough.

Michael Clarke

Joseph Stanley Crowther

Paul Goodison, MBE

and that the Honorary Freedom of the Borough be conferred by the Council upon the Yorkshire Regiment, and arrangements be made to present these Honours.
