The Trading Standards and Business Partnership Manager submitted a report containing proposed fees for applications made to the Council in accordance with the provisions of the Gambling Act 2005.
The report stated that the fees would be implemented with effect from 21st May, 2007 and, in accordance with Section 212(2)(d) of the Gambling Act 2005, local authorities were required to set their fees on a cost recovery basis only. Reference was also made to the consultation process, which had invited comments on the proposed fees from a range of stakeholders.
Resolved:- That the proposed fee structure for applications submitted to this Council in accordance with the provisions of the Gambling Act 2005, as detailed in the report now submitted, be approved and implemented on 21st May, 2007.
