In accordance with the provisions of Section 5(1) of the Licensing Act 2003, the Licensing Committee undertook a review of the Council’s Licensing Statement of Policy. This Statement of Policy had originally become effective from 7^th January, 2005 and this review was the first one to be undertaken; the prescribed interval for the Policy reviews being three years.

The Committee noted details of the consultation process, undertaken as part of the review of the Statement of Policy. The responses received by the Council during the consultation process were included with the report.

Resolved:- (1) That the revised Statement of Licensing Policy, as now submitted, be approved insofar as this Committee is concerned.

(2) That the Officers concerned be thanked for their efforts in preparing the revised Statement of Policy.
