Exclusion of the Press and Public

Minutes:

Resolved:- That, under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972 (staffing matters).

Chief Executive's Pay

Minutes:

Further to Minute No. 14 of the meeting of this Committee held on 25th April 2007, the Assistant Chief Executive, Human Resources, presented the submitted report indicating the proposed consolidation of the Chief Executive’s salary package by incorporating the final performance increment awarded in February, 2008.

 

Resolved:- (1) That approval be given, as now reported, to the consolidation of the salary of the Chief Executive.

 

(2) That the Chief Executive’s performance continues to be performance managed by the Performance Review Panel on an annual basis against ‘Year Ahead’ targets.
