EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

The following item is likely to be considered in the absence of the press and public as being exempt under Paragraph 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended March 2006) (information likely to reveal the identity of an individual):-

"An exemption under paragraph 2. (Information which is likely to reveal the identity of an individual) of Part I of Schedule12A of the Local Government Act 1972 is requested, as this report deals with a complaint made under the Council's Complaints Procedure which discloses the information referred to.  It is considered that the public interest in maintaining the exemption would outweigh the pubic interest in disclosing the information, as the interests of the respective parties could be prejudiced by disclosure of such information."

"An exemption under paragraph 2. (Information which likely to reveal the identity of an individual) of Part I of Schedule12A of the Local Government Act 1972 was requested, as this report dealt with a complaint made under the Council's Complaints Procedure which discloses the information referred to.  It was considered that the public interest in maintaining the exemption would outweigh the pubic interest in disclosing the information, as the interests of the respective parties could be prejudiced by disclosure of such information."
