Consideration was given to a report, presented by the Projects and Performance Officer, Streetpride, detailing Streetpride’s overall performance in dealing with requests for service for the second quarter  - July to September, 2009.

 

It was reported that overall performance averaged 98.1% in the second quarter of 2009/10 and this was a slight improvement in performance of 0.5% compared with the previous quarter’s out-turn.

 

The following services were discussed:-

 

-                      Street lighting

-                      Fly tipping

-                      Dangerous defects in the carriageway

 

Reference was also made to the reporting of exceptions and it was agreed that a single page summary would accompany future reports.

 

The hard work of all staff concerned was acknowledged and thanks were offered by the Chair of the Rother Valley West Area Assembly for the level of service provided.

 

Resolved:-  (1)  That Streetpride’s performance in the second quarter of 2009/10 be noted.

 

(2)   That all staff be thanked for their efforts to achieve these targets.

 

(3)  That future reports include a summary sheet highlighting any exceptions.

Performance Network Seminar 2009

Minutes:

Consideration was given to attendance at the following:-

 

Performance Network Seminar 2009 – “More for Less – Performance in Challenging Times” – 3rd & 4th December, 2009 – Blackpool.

 

Resolved:-  That approval be given for the attendance of two Councillors (Councillors R. S. Russell and Swift).
