71.	Sheltered Level Access Improvements 2010/11 - Phase 2 PDF 65 KB View the background to item 71. Minutes: Further to Minute No. 169 of April, 2010, the Project Manager reported that, following a very competitive tender from the successful contractor, £195,000 was still available from the 2010/11 Regional Housing Board allocation for Sheltered Housing modifications. It was, therefore, proposed that level access improvements be created to a further 70 properties at Staple Green, Thrybergh, and Mason Avenue, Swallownest, as well as 10 properties on the Responsive waiting list. If approved, there would have been 21 sheltered schemes improved by the end of the current financial year. Resolved:- That the 2010/11 (Phase 2) budget spend proposal for the sheltered schemes, set out above be approved.
72.	Area Assemblies - Devolved Budgets View the background to item 72. Minutes: In accordance with Minute No. 68 of the meeting held on 18^th October, 2010, the Director of Housing and Neighbourhood Services gave a verbal report on the proposed devolved budget spend by Wentworth South Area Assembly. The proposed £9,000 for fencing had been agreed by the Area Assembly in accordance with the normal processes and was permissible under the set criteria. Resolved:- That the project by Wentworth South Area Assembly be approved for funding from identified NAS budgets.
