To consider and approve the minutes of the previous meeting held on 18 June 2026 as a true and correct record of the proceedings and to be signed by the Chair.

To receive declarations of interest from Members in respect of items listed on the agenda.

To receive questions relating to items of business on the agenda from members of the public or press who are present at the meeting.

To consider whether the press and public should be excluded from the meeting during consideration of any part of the agenda.

This item is to consider a presentation in relation to the proposals in relation to the Phase 2 development of the Town Centre Health Hub, as requested by the Health Select Commission following its consideration of Phase 1 proposals in June 2025.

This item is to receive an update in relation to the Primary Care Network landscape in the borough, how health services are delivered across these structures and to explore how these could be developed to better support Rotherham’s communities.

This item is to consider the report and recommendations proposing the appointment of the Rotherham Women’s Health Network as a Non-voting Co-optee of the Health Select Commission.

To consider the Health Select Commission’s work programme for 2026/2027.

To receive and note the contents of any reports routinely submitted to the Health Select Commission for information and awareness.

This item is to receive a copy of the Healthwatch Rotherham Annual Report 2025/26.  This is being shared so that members are sighted on the work conducted by Healthwatch Rotherham during that period of time, and the outcomes achieved for Rotherham residents.

To receive and consider the minutes and recommendations of the South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee.

The minutes of the last JHOSC meeting held 7 January 2026 were shared with members as soon as they became available and via the 14 May Health Select Commission meeting agenda pack.

The next JHOSC meeting remains expected to take place in October 2026, and final arrangements are underway regarding the agenda for that meeting.

Health Select Commission members will be updated regarding the agreed agenda items and meeting date once confirmed, at which point Members will be invited to share any questions or comments they would like to be included in JHOSC’s discussions regarding those agreed items for consideration.

To consider any item(s) which the Chair is of the opinion should be considered as a matter of urgency.
