Councillor Sheppard declared a Personal Interest in Minute No. 110 as he had contact with the hackney carriage/private hire driver’s representative on social media.

The following items are likely to be considered in the absence of the press and public as being exempt under the Police Act 1997 and Paragraphs 3 and 7 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972 (business affairs and prevention of crime)

Resolved:- That, under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in the Police Act 1997 and Paragraphs 3 and 7 of Part I of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972 (business affairs and prevention of crime).

The Sub-Committee considered a request made by the applicant, Mr. R.A., and his representative, for an adjournment of the hearing.  This was due to inaccuracies within the report submitted and Mr. R.A. having to take a family member for an urgent hospital appointment.

Resolved:-  That the review be adjourned and rescheduled as a matter of urgency.
