The following item is likely to be considered in the absence of the press and public as being exempt under the Police Act 1997 and Paragraphs 3 and 7 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972 (business affairs and prevention of crime)

Resolved:- That, under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in the Police Act 1997 and Paragraphs 3 and 7 of Part I of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972 (business affairs and prevention of crime).

The Sub-Committee, considered a report of the Licensing Manager relating to applications for the review/grant of the hackney carriage/private hire driver licences in respect of Messrs. A.Al-G and S.A.S.

Due to a medical incident taking place prior to the review, Mr. A.Al-G and his 2 GMB representatives had requested that his application for review be adjourned.

Mr. S.A.S. was in attendance at the meeting.

Resolved:-  (1)  That consideration of the review of the private hire/hackney carriage driver licence in respect of Mr. A.Al.G. be adjourned until 25^th July, 2022, meeting of the Sub-Committee.

(2)  That the hackney carriage/private hire driver licence in respect of Mr. S.A.S. be approved.
