The Overview and Scrutiny Management Board (OSMB) acts as
the principal overview and scrutiny committee of the
Council. It considers matters relating
to the conduct, structure and procedures of overview and scrutiny,
ensures overview and scrutiny of the Council’s values, plans
and strategies and make recommendations for improvements either
directly or via the Health Select, Improving Lives or Improving
Places Commissions through oversight of the work programmes of those commissions.
