Minded to Grant Decision:-  (1)  That the consultation process and the findings of the Equalities Impact Assessment be noted.

(2)  That the arrangements be noted to ensure the two current residents are appropriately supported through the closure and supported in their new placements.

(3)  That the closure of St. Edmund’s Children’s Home following the consultation process be approved.

(4)  That as part of the decommissioning of St. Edmund’s Children’s Home appropriate steps be taken around the proposals for staff.

Reason:-  To consider the outcome of the consultation and recommendation that St. Edmund’s Children’s Home is closed by 31^st January 2016.

Date of Publication of the Minded to Grant Decision:-  Thursday, 14^th January, 2016.
