Appoint a supplier to carry out a programme of refurbishment works to 13 Refuse Collection Vehicles. |
Reasons for the Decision: |
Failure to carry out the programme of works is very likely to result in vehicle failure and subsequent downtime. This would have a negative impact to frontline service delivery.

Details of alternative options considered and rejected: |
To not repair the deteriorating RCV bodies, have them fall further into disrepair, causing significant service disruption and increasing repair costs and have to be replaced before the end of their planned asset life at a significant further expense to the Council. |
