Under Section 4C3 of the Responsibilities for Functions document (Appendix 9 of the Council's Constitution) the Strategic Director of Adult Care, Housing and Public Health is authorised to discharge executive functions through the commissioning and provision of social services for adults and public health services for the whole population and delivery of housing for the Borough, including: -

Decision:

To award the contract for the provision of Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation Service including the Refuge to Hopian, formerly Rotherham Rise with a value of £250,000 per annum for four years (plus up to two years extension).

Reasons for the Decision:

The result of a competitive procurement process as agreed in the  20-Jan-2025 Cabinet Meeting, minute 101 refers.

The successful supplier, after evaluation, was Hopian, formerly Rotherham Rise. The Tender Evaluation Report and award recommendation has been approved by the relevant parties.
