Decision:

To raise and fly the Armed Forces Flag as part of Rotherham Armed Forces Day Civic Event taking place at Rotherham Town Hall and Riverside House from 20 June 2026 until Monday 29 June 2026 to show support to and raise awareness of the Armed Forces Community.

 

To approve an amendment to the Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council Annual Flag Flying Schedule to permit the flying of the Armed Forces Day flag at Rotherham Town Hall and Riverside House as a demonstration of the Council’s support.

 

Reasons for the Decision:

In recognition of and to show support for the Armed Forces community.

To approve an amendment to the Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council Annual Flag Flying Schedule to permit the flying of the Armed Forces Day flag at Rotherham Town Hall and Riverside House as a demonstration of the Council’s support.
