Brief Description of Decision:

1.  To terminate by agreement the Contract for processing source segregated garden waste on the 31 March 2020.

2.  To re-procure a contract for processing source segregated garden waste.

Reasons for the Decision:

This is due to an Environment Agency change in position

Details of Alternative Options Considered and Rejected:

1.    Do nothing continue with the contract as is with the Contractor making a substantial loss.

2.    Enter Dispute Resolution with unknown costs and outcome

3.    Terminate the contract by agreement
