Brief Description of Decision:

 

 

1.    That the proposals shown on Drawing Number NSS/BOSTONCASTLE/2021/03 regarding the implementation of a 20mph speed limit on Boston Castle Grove and Terrace be approved and implemented.

 

2.    That the results of the consultation process be noted.

 

Reasons for the Decision:

 

 

To enable the implementation of a 20mph Speed Limit on various Roads (Duke of Norfolk Estate).

 

To note the results of the consultation.

 

Details of alternative options considered and rejected:

 

The option not to implement the 20mph speed limit was rejected as retaining the existing speed limit would not have provided the desired improvements in road safety at Boston Castle Grove & Terrace.
