Reduce Special Responsibility Allowances to level below Sheffield to minimise cuts to public services

We the undersigned petition the council to Reduce the Special Responsibility Allowances to reasonable levels before they cut funding to public services

Rotherham Councillors currently claim over £100,000 more than Sheffield Council in Special Responsibility Allowances.

Sheffield is a larger area, with a larger budget, with larger responsibilities yet Rotherham Councillors voted to pay themselves more for less work.

That money should be spent on public services, not sliding into Councillor pockets, especially when the Council is proposing cuts in funding for public services.

This petition ran from 15/11/2018 to 27/12/2018 and has now finished.
