Action against dog fouling on the hedgerows

We the undersigned petition the council to Take action to prevent and clear up the constant dog fouling on our a estate. Whether it be, dog poo bins, lawful signage stating fines will result in the non clearing up of dog poo, cctv, any or all of these measures.

There is a constant battle right across the entirety of our relatively new estate in Thurcroft against people who quite happily let their dogs foul on footpaths, public green areas and even private property. The issue only seems to be getting worse. There are a lot of children on the estate who like to go out playing who should not have to be worrying about dodging the dog poo or even coming home for parents to have to clean it from their shoes or bike or clothes. Not to mention people having to clean it up from their own property because some last dog owner has not only allowed their animal to do the deed on someone else's property but they haven't even bothered picking it up.
This is a request in writing for the council to take action before it either effects some poor child's health or causes serious public dispute/disturbance.

This petition ran from 26/01/2019 to 26/02/2019 and has now finished.
