Procurement of Traffic Signal Equipment for Refurbishments 2024-25

To authorise Officer Delegated Decisions for ordering traffic signals equipment, works and services to Matt Reynolds, Head of Transportation Infrastructure Service.

The current framework for Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Traffic Signals is no longer viable and requires re-procurement within the next 12 months. Therefore, an interim procurement is planned to invite reputable experienced suppliers to quote for supply and install of traffic signals to manage supply until a replacement framework is in place.

This contract will cover immediately required replacement traffic signals and equipment and critically, if our bid for additional DfT funding from the Traffic Signals Obsolescence Grant (TSOG) is successful, we will rely on this mechanism to enable us to deliver the extended programme of works before the specified deadline.
