To authorise Officer Delegated Decisions for ordering traffic signals equipment, works and services to the Head of Transportation Infrastructure Service.
The current framework for Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Traffic Signals is due for renewal and requires immediate re-procurement to ensure continuity of service delivery.
A new framework contract will cover all traffic signal equipment and installation services needed to deliver our ongoing improvement programme and could also be used to procure them for our capital funded transportation schemes to potentially make project savings.
