Consultation on Public Spaces Protection Orders - Town Centre and Borough Wide Dog Fouling

The current Town Centre and Clifton Park Public Spaces Protection Order and the Borough-wide Dog Fouling Public Spaces Protection Order were renewed in January 2024 for a period of 12 months. This period of designation is intentionally shorter than the three year maximum term that is prescribed in the applicable statute.

 

Recommendations for Officer Decision:

 

1.    To carry out a consultation in relation to a new Town Centre and Clifton Park Public Spaces Protection Order

 

2.    To carry out a consultation in relation to a Borough wide Public Spaces Protection Order specifically dealing with dog fouling and control.
