There is a risk that without amending the order to reflect the proposed Pay and Display parking bays, that any potential enforcement of these bays on Eastwood Lane, and any subsequent issue of penalty notices that are challenged, could be successful, if the legal order supporting them, is not correct. The proposed change to the traffic regulation order addresses this. |

No other options considered. The removal of the existing waiting restriction is required to facilitate a relocated pedestrian crossing point and reconfiguration of existing Pay and Display bays. |
